We're proud to announce a partnership with Ubisoft to translate Far Cry 3 into English. As a result, we will be able to work on the script and art assets together in our own localization studio. This means faster turnaround time and less cost for you. No more waiting months for an English release! It also means the quality of the translation will be leaps and bounds better than what is currently available from non-native speakers. If you still wish to use "Update 1.1" (released 17th May 2011), there is a patch for that available here . 1st August 2011 - We've released the "FC3-MEU-ENG" patch! This is intended for those who wish to play the game in English with their original, unmodified file. This can be downloaded here , or through Steam by right clicking on Far Cry 3 in the Library, and pressing properties, then selecting "Local Files", and finally "Browse local files".
